Andrea
Drugay has been studying various forms of yoga since 1996. She is professionally
registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) and lives in San Francisco, CA.
Her teaching style is warm, clear, and compassionate. She offers a Vinyasa sequence
that draws from both the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions, including the teachings
of B.K.S. Iyengar and Phattabi Jois, among others ~ wherever inspiration can
be found in the moment.
She completed her 200-hour teacher training with YogaWorks, where she studied
intensely with the renowned James Brown. Additionally, she is certified through
It's Yoga Kids (IYKC) to teach yoga to children aged 3-13 years old.
The various forms of yoga that Andrea has practiced (and currently practices)
include Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha Flow, Jivamukti, Anusara, and Kundalini. The
humor-infused teaching style of Kim Acker solidified her desire to teach and
she continues to be influenced by a variety of teachers in the Bay Area, particularly
Eve Isbell. Other ongoing influences in Andrea's teaching life include The Bhagavad
Gita, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
